The following is a brief description of each of the major features of a standard Gnosis system. These features may be extended through the addition of standard and custom developed Plug-in Modules.

  Out of the box, Gnosis supports communications campaigns that incorporate single media and multiple media communications. You can give your customers options as to how they wish you to communicate with them.
  
  You may automatically run a campaign combining multiple methods of communication such as email and postal mail, directing the appropriate medium to the appropriate recipient with ease. Additionally, reach a broader audience by defining recipient groups based on any criteria in your database and automatically deliver communications via email where addresses are available, and by surface mail where email addresses are not available.
  
  Finally, to ease the burden of administering updates, opt-outs and email bounces, Gnosis incorporates automated communications management functions that fully integrate bounce processing and subscription preferences directly via your web site.

These attributes may contain additional customized data and determine specific behaviors and actions for customers and users.
  
  Custom attributes may be defined when the system is first implemented and thereafter at any time to meet any ad-hoc need for data collection or custom actions.
