Gnosis consists of the latest database and web technologies assembled into an enterprise class application, but configured for the small to medium sized organization.
Because the Gnosis contains many high end capabilities, there are a number of more advanced configuration and management options, most that you don’t need to be aware of, but, some that you may. This guide introduces all of the system administration and configuration areas that are included in your Gnosis subscription.
Gnosis comes installed with basic parameters already configured to enable you to immediately use and manage your system. These basic parameters include database security settings, encryption keys, web site ftp and user account settings and email account settings.
Generally speaking, if you do not understand what a certain setting is used for, do not modify it without consulting Connect4 Support first.
